Dry needling is a more recent addition to treatment methods used by Dutch physiotherapists. The method came from Canada and over the years became part of regular physiotherapy.
Through special techniques muscles are pierced with a needle that causes quick and prolonged relaxation of those muscles.
This method is frequently used as a therapy for long lasting muscle issues or as part of a more comprehensive treatment. To give some examples; headaches, lower back pains, RSI, neck problems and a tennis elbow.
